Bird on a Fence was inspired by a photograph I took from my studio window.
I used a raw-edge collage technique with some machine and hand stitching embellishments. The entire piece was quilted using free-motion machine quilting.
I create all my work in my studio overlooking the Puget Sound on Whidbey Island. All designs are original and are copyrighted by me. My studio is smoke-free and pet-free.
Materials used: cottons — up cycled fabric scraps from Marcia Derse’s Whidbey Island studio.
Hanging device: 2 straps at the top for use with a hanging rod. Rod not included.
