Rabbit Mandala

I have this inner struggle, as a gardener, about how to co-exist with our town’s wild domestic rabbits. This ongoing series depicts the various feelings I have about the rabbits—anger, frustration, admiration, and amazement at their audacity. The mandala is made from indigo-dyed linen and is stitched onto linen. It is hand-embroidered and quilted with Valdani perle cotton threads.

I create all my work in my studio overlooking the Puget Sound on Whidbey Island. All designs are original and are copyrighted by me. My studio is smoke-free and pet-free.

Materials used: linen — some dyed with indigo, cotton embroidery thread
