I Miss You
I Miss You is part of my Pandemic Birds series. It was inspired by how much I missed my kids, parents, and grandkids during the pandemic lockdown. There is a Morse Code message embedded in the stitching. I wrote a blog post about this series which you can read here.
I used a raw-edge collage technique with machine and hand embroidery. The entire piece was quilted by hand using a Kantha quilting style. The piece is embroidered with variegated Perle cotton thread.
I create all my work in my studio overlooking the Puget Sound on Whidbey Island. All designs are original and are copyrighted by me. My studio is smoke-free and pet-free.
