Good Cheer Quilt

Our quilter foremothers made quilts from discarded clothing all the time. This quilt was made with that tradition in mind. Made with scraps from hand-dyed cotton and linen clothing, it is reversible with a traditional quilt pattern on one side and a modern pattern on the other. The story of how this quilt was made can be found on my blog. The clothing came from the nonprofit Good Cheer organization in Langley, WA. All proceeds from the sale of this quilt will go back to Good Cheer to fund their local food bank.

I create all my work in my studio overlooking the Puget Sound on Whidbey Island. All designs are original and are copyrighted by me. My studio is smoke-free and pet-free.
