Silk art quilt "Shirtwaist"
Art quilt made with various upcycled silk shirts from Korea and Thailand. Machine- and hand-quilted. Complete with sleeve on back for easy hanging. This quilt is part of a series of quilts inspired by the Korean patchwork technique called Bojagi.
I create all my work in my studio overlooking the Puget Sound on Whidbey Island. All designs are original and are copyrighted by me. My studio is smoke-free and pet-free.
Materials used: upcycled Korean & Thai silks, cotton batting, silk backing and border
