Scrappy Twin Bed Quilt
Our quilter foremothers made quilts from fabric scraps all the time. This quilt was made with that tradition in mind. Made with scraps from hand-dyed cotton and Marcia Derse's studio scraps. It is reversible with large scraps on one side and tiny scraps on the other.
I create all my work in my studio overlooking the Puget Sound on Whidbey Island. All designs are original and are copyrighted by me. My studio is smoke-free and pet-free.
Materials used: cotton scraps
Year created: 2024
Machine quilted by Susan Dirkes (@art_on_whidbey)
Dimensions
64x76” (twin-sized blanket)
Care: machine or hand-wash in cold water.
